Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
  • Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Visit Pashupatinath Temple and nearby cultural sites.
  • Overnight in Kathmandu.
Fly Kathmandu → Nepalgunj (150m)
  • Morning flight to Nepalgunj, a lively town near the Indian border. Free evening to explore.
  • Flight: 1 hr | Overnight in Nepalgunj.
Fly Nepalgunj → Simikot (2,910m)
  • Fly to Simikot, gateway to the Humla region. Enjoy stunning mountain views and acclimatize.
  • Flight: 1 hr | Overnight in Simikot.
Fly Simikot → Hilsa (by helicopter), Drive to Taklakot (Purang) (3,930m)
  • Take a scenic helicopter ride to Hilsa, cross the Nepal–Tibet border, and drive to Taklakot for acclimatization.
  • Helicopter: 25 mins | Drive: 1 hr | Overnight in Taklakot.
Drive Taklakot → Lake Manasarovar (4,590m)
  • Drive through the Tibetan plateau to Lake Manasarovar, the most sacred lake in Asia. Perform rituals, take a holy dip, and experience the divine tranquility.
  • Drive: 2–3 hrs | Overnight near Lake Manasarovar.
Lake Manasarovar → Darchen (4,575m)
  • Morning prayers by the lake, followed by a drive to Darchen, base camp for Mount Kailash Parikrama.
  • Drive: 2–3 hrs | Overnight in Darchen.
Kailash Parikrama Begins: Darchen → Dirapuk (4,900m)
  • Start your sacred Kailash Kora, trekking to Dirapuk with mesmerizing views of Mount Kailash’s north face.
  • Trek: 13 km, 5–6 hrs | Overnight in Dirapuk.
Dirapuk → Zuthulpuk via Dolma La Pass (5,636m)
  • The most challenging yet spiritually fulfilling day — cross the Dolma La Pass, visit Gauri Kund, and continue to Zuthulpuk.
  • Trek: 22 km, 8–9 hrs | Overnight in Zuthulpuk.
Complete Kora, Drive to Taklakot
  • Conclude your Parikrama with a short trek to Darchen, followed by a drive back to Taklakot.
  • Trek: 12 km, 3–4 hrs | Drive: 2–3 hrs | Overnight in Taklakot.
Drive to Hilsa, Fly to Simikot
  • Drive to Hilsa and board a helicopter back to Simikot.
  • Helicopter: 25 mins | Overnight in Simikot.
Fly Simikot → Nepalgunj → Kathmandu
  • Return to Kathmandu via connecting flights. Rest and reflect on your divine journey.
  • Total flight time: ~3 hrs | Overnight in Kathmandu.
Departure from Kathmandu
  • Transfer to the airport for your onward journey with blessings from Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar.
